BABSON PARK, Mass. - The Babson women's tennis team lost a close match with Connecticut College, 5-4, as part of the Wellesley Invitational on Friday night. The Beavers fell to 13-8 with the loss, while the Camels improved to 5-2.

Babson's lone point in doubles play came at number one, where sophomore Jessica Huang and junior co-captain Kali Hogan claimed an 8-4 victory. The Beavers then posted three wins in singles competition, including a 6-4, 1-6, (11-9) superbreaker win by junior Heather Walsh at two, a 6-4, 6-2 victory by Huang at three, and an 8-4 one-set win by sophomore Lorena Becerra at four.

The Beavers return to action with a match against Hamilton at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
