MIDDLEBURY, Vt. - The Babson College women's tennis team resumed its 2007-08 season at Middlebury on Saturday, where the Beavers dropped their spring opener to the host Panthers, 9-0. With the loss, Babson fell to 10-6 on the year.

Junior co-captain Heather Walsh and sophomore Lorena Becerra turned in Babson's top performance in doubles play, as they lost a tight match at number two, 8-6. Sophomore Jessica Huang then rallied from a set down to force a superbreaker before eventually falling 6-4, 2-6, (10-7) at third singles.
