Women's Soccer Star Lynch Earns Fourth Straight All-NEWMAC Honor

 
 


Meg Lynch '08 is now a four-time All-NEWMAC honoree.

BABSON PARK, Mass. - Senior captain Meg Lynch (Holden, Mass.) received postseason honors for the fourth straight year this fall, as she was named to the NEWMAC All-Conference First Team to lead Babson's list of five award winners.

One of the top backs in the region, Lynch garnered her fourth straight All-Conference award after starting all 20 of Babson's games this fall. With her leading the way, the Beavers went 11-7-2 this season and earned their first trip to the NEWMAC Championship Game since 1998. With the NSCAA and ECAC All-Region Teams still to be announced, Lynch has already earned two All-NEWMAC First Team honors, two All-NEWMAC Second Team selections, and two All-NEw England honors in her illustrious career.

Also earning All-Conference recognition were junior Jackie Graham (Winchester, Mass.) and sophomore Sam Bartman (Upton, Mass.), who were both garnered Second Team honors. Graham ranked fourth on the team with six goals and four assists for 16 points in 17 games in the midfield this fall, while Bartman was close behind with one goal and a team-high seven assists for nine points out of the backfield. Rounding out the list of Babson's honorees were junior Mila Doddi (Southborough, Mass.) and sophomore Julie Berenz (Hanover, Mass.), who were both named to the NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team.
