3/22/08Paradis Places 20th In 3-Meter Diving To Conclude First-Ever Appearance At Nationals Babson sophomore Aaron Paradis wrapped up his first-ever trip to the NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday, as he placed 20th overall in the 3-meter diving event. The first Babson diver in over 20 years to compete at nationals, Paradis finishd 18th of the 1-meter board on Thursday. He followed that up with another solid showing on Saturday, as he finished 20th overall with a score of 378.30. [+]
3/21/08Paradis Finishes 18th In 1-Meter Event At Nationals Sophomore diver Aaron Paradis became the first male Babson College diver in more than two decades to compete at nationals on Thursday, as he placed 18th in the 1-meter event at the 2008 NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Miami-Ohio. Paradis posted a total score of 353.60 in the preliminary round of the 1-meter event, placing him two spots shy of qualifying for the evening finals and 18th overall. A total of 22 divers participated in the event. [+]
3/7/08Sophomore Diver Paradis Chosen To Compete At NCAA Championships Babson sophomore diver Aaron Paradis made history on Friday, as he was selected to compete in the 2008 NCAA Division III National Championships for the first time in his young career. He will compete in the 1-meter event on March 20 and the 3-meter event on March 21 and 22. Both competitions will be held at the University of Miami-Ohio. Named the 2007 NEWMAC Diver of the Year after winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter events as a freshman, Paradis placed third off both boards at the conference championships this winter. That capped off a brilliant sophomore campaign in which he swept both diving events in every one of Babson's dual meets while qualifying for selection to nationals on multiple occasions. [+] |
