Babson Men's Soccer Archive

Program History
The most storied program at Babson, men's soccer boasts more than five decades of excellence at the varsity level. Since 1968, the Beavers have amassed an incredible record of 455-172-79 (.700), finishing below .500 just three times in 39 seasons during that stretch. In 1975, the team went 17-0-1 and claimed the first NCAA Championship in school history. Babson then won back-to-back national titles in 1979 and 1980, becoming the first team in NCAA Division III soccer history to win three national championships.

In recent years, the Beavers have continued their run as one of the top teams in New England. In the last six seasons, Babson has gone 97-50-20 for a .641 winning percentage, winning the NEWMAC Championship and earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament in both 2002 and 2004. In addition to a conference title and NCAA Tourney berth, the 2004 campaign also featured a 16-5-1 record and a national ranking of 24th. This past fall, the Beavers posted a 13-7-3 mark behind the stellar play of Third Team All-American Tim Winn '09, who set a new single-season program record with 16 goals and 41 points in just his season collegiate campaign.
