5/8/08Wellemeyer, Wilbur Top List Of Men's Lacrosse Award Winners The Pilgrim League announced its men's lacrosse postseason honors this week, and eight Babson players received recognition. Babson senior Jason Wellemeyer and junior Bryan Wilbur were both named to the All-Conference First Team, while junior Matt Enright and senior Ed Baran each received All-Conference Second Team and All-Academic honors. Also named to the All-Academic Team were sophomore Max Artz, senior Michael Collins, first-year Nick Dager, and junior E.J. Peterson. [+] 
4/30/08Wheaton Edges Men's Lacrosse, 11-9, In Pilgrim League Semifinals The Babson men's lacrosse team saw its season come to an unfortunate end on Wednesday, as the third-seeded Beavers came up just short against second-seeded Wheaton, 11-9, in the semifinals of the 2008 Pilgrim League Tournament. Junior Matt Enright and senior co-captain Jason Wellemeyer tallied two goals and one assist apiece for Babson, while first-year Armand Wilson scored twice. Junior Matt Harrington added three assists in the loss, and junior keeper Max Owen made five saves during nearly 42 minutes of relief in goal. [+] 
4/26/08Wheaton Rallies For 11-7 Win Over Men's Lacrosse The Wheaton men's lacrosse team rallied from an early 3-0 deficit to down visiting Babson, 11-7, on Saturday in Pilgrim League men's lacrosse action during Senior Day at Mirrione Stadium. As a result, the two teams will meet again in the conference semifinals on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Wheaton. Senior Jason Wellemeyer scored four goals and assisted another for the Beavers, while junior Matt Enright netted three scores. [+] |
