Baseball Closes Out Florida Trip With 14-7 Loss To Trinity

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Babson College baseball team closed out its spring break trip to Florida with a tough 14-7 loss to 19th-ranked Trinity on Wednesday. Despite the loss, however, the Beavers will return home with a solid record of 5-3.

Trinity was led by cleanup hitter Kent Graham, who set a new school record with eight RBIs in the contest. The Bantams' firstbaseman when 4-for-6 with a homer in the contest.

Babson was led by senior Steve Tahmoush, who went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI, and senior co-captain Matt Delaney, who went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs. Junior Bryan Evans and sophomore Dave Ahern each added two hits apiece while Ahern also added a scoreless inning of relief.

Junior Jeff Wojnar started and took the loss for the Beavers, while Jeremiah Bayer earned the win for Trinity.
