MIDDELBURY, Vt. - Babson first-year Alexis Burton represented the Beavers on day two of the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association Championships at the Middlebury Snow Bowl on Saturday, as she finished 49th in the giant slalom portion of the event.

One day after finishing 42nd in the slalom, Burton posted runs of 1:08.96 and 1:09.03 for a combined time of 2:17.99 - good for 49th place. She was just 0.32 seconds shy of 48th place, and only 0.97 seconds out of 47th.
