Kevin Leip '70

Year Inducted: 1992 (second induction class)

Accomplishments: A team leader on and off the basketball court, Kevin Leip impressed players, coaches, and Babson fans with his abundance of talent and unlimited enthusiasm. A two-time captain, Kevin proved to be one of the best basketball players in school history, scoring 1396 points in just 72 career games. He currently ranks ninth on Babson's all-time scoring list, and his 19.4 points per game average is still the highest in program history. In addition, his 39 points against Suffolk on January 31, 1968 are tied for eighth most on the school's list of single-game scoring performances. Kevin's son, Scott, also played basketball at Babson, graduating in 1993.
