| Overview
The Babson Skating Center is home to the College's highly-successful men's ice hockey team. In addition to collegiate hockey, the facility hosts a number of programs and events, including club and intramural competition, high school and youth league games, clinics, and summer camps. The rink is open year round, although public access may vary. For information on the rink schedule, visti the Babson Skating Center's official web page. The Babson Skating Center features a regulation-sized ice surface, two scoreboards, three visiting locker rooms, bleacher seating with a capacity of 850, and a press box with internet service that seats up to eight people. The facility also boasts a magnificent home locker room that was renovated in 2002, as well as a large, heated mezzanine area overlooking the ice that can be used for alumni and parent functions during the year. Other amenities of the Babson Skating Center include a consession stand that is open during all home varsity contests. Tickets for all varsity ice hockey contests may be purchaed at the front door. Cost of admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. All Babson students are admitted free of charge with a valid school ID for all regular season games.
